Terms & Conditions - Gibson's Gift Cards

These terms and conditions apply to all Gibson’s Gift Cards. By purchasing, using, or redeeming a Gift Card, you agree to the following:

1. Redemption
Gibson’s Gift Cards may be used towards purchases at Gibson’s, including the hammer price, buyer’s premium, and any applicable GST.
Gift Cards are not redeemable against postage, handling or third party delivery charges.
Gift Cards are valid across all auction categories, subject to the conditions of the relevant sale.
Gift Cards may only be redeemed by the person in which the Gift Card has been issued.

2. Validity
Unless otherwise specified, Gift Cards are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of issue.
Any unused balance after the expiry date will be forfeited.

3. Non-Transferable & No Cash Alternative
Gift Cards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Any remaining balance may be used for future purchases within the validity period. No change will be given.

4. Balance Enquiries
To check the remaining balance, please contact Gibson’s at [email protected].

5. Lost, Stolen Cards and Incorrectly Issued Cards
Gibson’s is not responsible for lost or stolen cards and will not be able to replace or refund them. If your gift card is lost or stolen, it’s best to immediately contact us so we can cancel the card.
Important: Please ensure that the recipient's email address supplied is correct as Gibson's are unable to replace or refund if the incorrect email address has been supplied when ordering the gift card.

6. Use at Auction
All purchases using a Gift Card are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Sale for the relevant auction.
Buyers must complete the standard bidder registration process prior to bidding.

7. Multiple Transactions
Gift Cards may be used across multiple purchases until the full value is redeemed or the card expires.
More than one Gift Card may be redeemed in a single transaction.

8. Restrictions
Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.
They are only valid for use with Gibson’s and cannot be used externally or via unauthorised channels.

9. Amendments
Gibson’s reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The current version will be available on our website.
