Founded by Jennifer Gibson in 2018, Gibson’s commenced operations with a team of highly experienced and well-regarded industry professionals. Through its driving principles of strong client relationships, transparency and market knowledge, Gibson’s has grown from strength to strength to become a major force in the Australian and international auction industry, presenting rare collections and individual pieces to a worldwide market.

The Seasonal Auction Series

Each year, Gibson's hosts multi-vendor auctions as part of our ongoing Seasonal Auction Series. These sales feature 300+ lots of fine furniture, paintings, decorative arts, ceramics & porcelain, sculpture, sterling silver, Chinese & Asian works of art, rugs & carpets, chandeliers & lighting.

Interiors | Private Collections

Our bi-annual Interiors and Private Collections sales are made up of three to five small to medium sized collections, presented and offered as one sale. These sales range from traditional English and Continental, through to contemporary and modern designer collections. The often vastly different nature of the collections in theses auctions integrated together create inspiring interior design ideas and unique acquisition opportunities.

Single-Owner Auctions

Since its founding in 2018, Gibson's has successfully led the market in single-owner collections and is now recognised as the auction house that cares for the vendor.
