  • Condition: The painting is housed in what is most likely its original frame, and appears to be supported on its original stretcher. Examination to the reverse of the canvas indicates no major distress or perforations.
The painted surface area is appears to be stable, scattered areas of paint contraction / cracking consistent with age. Discolouration and dirt marks throughout the surface area. Light scuffing to the image at all four edges. Areas that appear to be scuffing on the edges are unpainted canvas sections. This work is in good, original condition.
